1. Who We Are

Pinterest Download is an open-source Chrome extension that enables users to download images from Pinterest pages as ZIP files. This extension is an independent project and is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or connected to Pinterest, Inc.

2. Data We Do NOT Collect

• ❌ No personal information (name, email, IP address)
• ❌ No browsing history or visited URLs
• ❌ No analytics or usage tracking
• ❌ No cookies or fingerprinting
• ❌ No data sent to any external server
• ❌ No account or sign-up required

3. What Happens Locally

When you use the extension, the following happens entirely inside your browser:

• The extension scans the current Pinterest tab for image URLs
• Image files are fetched from Pinterest's CDN (i.pinimg.com) and immediately written into a ZIP file in memory
• The ZIP file is saved directly to your local device via the browser's built-in download system
• Your chosen settings (folder name, concurrency) are stored locally via chrome.storage.sync, synced to your own Google account — we never see this data

4. Permissions Justification

5. Third-Party Libraries

The extension uses JSZip (MIT license), an open-source JavaScript library for creating ZIP files. JSZip runs entirely in the browser — no external network requests are made by this library.

6. Children's Privacy

This extension does not target or knowingly interact with children under the age of 13. No personal data is collected from anyone, regardless of age.

7. Changes to This Policy

If we ever make material changes to this privacy policy, we will update the "Last updated" date above. We encourage you to review this page periodically. Continued use of the extension after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
